this episode is so fucking good.... clark is just a farmboy at heart i LOVE him

what I like about this episode is like - I think if Clark were asked what his heart's desire is moving forward he wouldn't want to go back to krypton, it would be much more about Lois & being able to save the world, etc, but his first best wish IS about saving his planet

and as soon as you save the planet there's no need for him to leave it, so everything follows from there - but it's inflected by who Clark Kent is, even if it's Kal El's life, because the things he understands happiness to be were learned on earth

so his planet is alive, his family is alive, but he still works on a farm, his wife is still a reporter, he lives a simple and unassuming life because that's what he knows happiness would be, for him.....ugh

i AM sad we don't get a flash into what Diana's heart's desire is but she has less Foundational Trauma to undo so it's harder lol
