its been almost 4 years and people are still acting as if bellamy was solely responsible for the grounder army in season 3?? as if he wasnt the one that tried to convince pike to spare the wounded??
yeah he played a large role in it but it wasn't like he grabbed a gun and single handedly slaughtered an entire army by himself??
also we'd seen as an audience a loy more of the grounders than bellamy had- in 2x09 before he went to infiltrate mw he still saw them as the enemy- and then after he'd risked everything to free them from the cages- theyd betrayed them once again
and forced him and clarke to kill off an entire civilization- im not gonna say its completely justified but if you look at it from his pov?? taking away everything we know of the culture??
in season one theyd planned to kill of the delinquents one by one- in the finale they'd sent an army to slaughter them all at the dropship- after spending most of the season trying to off them in other ways- they were just kids-
from bellamys pov theyd been at war since theyd landed- if you put yourself fully in his shoes- its not far fetched- the only good he'd seen of them was lincoln- whos clan he was banished from
not only that but they makw it seem like he was some cold hearted monster who showed no remorse over his actions although thats completely untrue- his regret was immediately obvious- he made it clear that they went too far- and has spent the last 3 seasons atoning for it
and beating himself up over it
yeah this turned into a thread somehow- yeah theres gonna be a lot of mistakes im- so tired jsjs anyway night please think about what yall would have done in bellamy blakes shoes- also about who sent their army to k word a bunch of teenagers in the first place
