I just got off the phone with a Phoenician who is almost fully recovered after contracting #COVID19 and I wanted to share a little bit of what I learned from his experience:

This person works for a senior care facility. He let me know that a new resident came to live there and their health went downhill fast. Within 6 days, the resident was dead. The staff had a suspicion that the resident had #COVID19 but was not tested.

A few days later, he told me that he began to have intense body aches and a long lasting headache. He had intense nasal pressure and pressure behind his eyes.
3/10
He called and was qualified to get tested in a @BannerHealth drive-through test site. When I asked how the test felt, he couldn't stress how uncomfortable it was. (For reference, this is how far back the swab has to go)
4/10
Like I mentioned, he was in the drive-through test site. The person who was administering his test told him that it was important that he didn't try to move his head away while they got the sample. He said he put his head firmly on his headrest and braced himself.

It was very uncomfortable to him and made his eyes water much more than they already had been. He told me that watery and itchy eyes were one of his many symptoms.
6/10
Then he went home and waited. He said he had already been self-quarantining for about 6 days before he got his test out of caution when he began feeling symptoms.
7/10
Three days later, he received a call to confirm that he did test positive for #COVID19. The person on the phone told him that he would be receiving an email detailing his positive diagnosis shortly, but that was 3 days ago and he still hasn't received one.
8/10
I asked about his senses of smell and taste. A reported big symptom of COVID is the lack of both of those senses. He told me that he was only just getting these senses back as of today.

He detailed putting hot sauce on various food and not being able to taste it at all.
9/10
Interestingly, he says he never experienced a fever. He also did not encounter the shortness of breath symptom that so many others have.

His biggest concern now is how many people may have #COVID19 but won't get tested due to their lack of common symptoms.
