MOTORSPORT - NICKI MINAJ
“Watch ya man, then you should watch ya mouth”

This could be read as a shot against Nicki’s former rival Remy Ma and most notably Papoose, Remy’s husband and alleged ghostwriter. Nicki famously questioned Remy’s legitimacy as a writer on “No Frauds”:
Tried to drop “Another One”, you was itchin' to scrap/You exposed your ghostwriter, now you wish it was scrapped/Heard your pussy on yuck, I guess you needed a Pap(poose/smear)
Nicki might be firing at Papoose as he was caught liking pictures on her Instagram page before quickly undoing the likes. Nicki has addressed this also, in the 2017 verse of
“I Can’t Even Lie”

“Keep your man off my Instagram, bitch, 99 problems but ain’t one a damn bitch”
“Bitches is pressed, administer mouth to mouth. You see them stats. You know what I am about”

Throughout her career, Nicki has made several huge accomplishments. In 2017 alone, she broke Aretha Franklin’s record for the “Most Hot 100 Hits Among Women” on the Billboard charts.
To be “pressed” means to be angry. “Administer mouth to mouth” means mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, a medical procedure used if a person is not breathing. It’s a form of CPR—a medical procedure that involves repeated chest compression
This which ties back into the “pressed” wordplay, used to restore the blood circulation and breathing of a person who has suffered cardiac arrest. The girls are pressed that Nicki is winning. Their careers, however, cannot be revived.
“I am the champ, I’m Iron Mike in a bout”

“Iron Mike” is one of former boxing champion Mike Tyson’s nicknames. He holds the record as the youngest boxer ever to win a heavyweight title. Nicki compares her rap skills to the lethal efficiency of Mike Tyson’s boxing prowess
It is important to note the homophone of MIKE IN A BOUT and MIC’ing ABOUT used as a verb. Nicki has an iron mic as her weapon of choice.
“Attention, imma need you to face front. You don’t want smoke with me, this is a laced blunt”

A “laced blunt” is marijuana laced with other drugs such as PCP or MDMA. Side effects includes hallucinations, disorientation, paranoia, etc.
This is especially relevant in the midst of the national opiod crisis, as there have been several media and local governments reports of laced weed being consumed by unsuspecting smokers. Nicki compares herself to a “laced blunt” as “smoking” or beefing with her will be deadly.
“Raps Jackie Chan, we ain’t pulling no fake stunts”

Jackie Chan is an actor and a stuntman best known for his roles in the Rush Hour series and his authentic martial-art based stunts. “Fake stunting” is slang for faking an action in order to gain publicity
Nicki compares herself to Jackie Chan because, just like he performs his own stunts, she’s authentic to the claims she makes in her lyrics. This line is also a response to various false ghostwriter rumors surrounding Nicki.
These claims were again ignited in a tweet by not widely known rapper Rah Digga that was posted in September 2016.
“My crown won’t fit on your bum ass lace fronts”

This could be a shot at Remy Ma. In a behind the scene video for VH1’s Love & Hip Hop eighth season–titled “Stay Queenin”–Remy wore a crown but it fell off her head. She said:

“That heavy-ass crown put a dent on my head though”
Nicki often calls herself the Queen of rap and even released an album called Queen in 2018. She’s suited to wear a crown, Remy isn’t. Pair this with the fact that before Nicki came into the game, women in rap were wearing cheap, synthetic party city wigs.
“You bitches catching the fade, shout out my nigga Lil Boosie”

To “catch a fade” is slang for challenging someone to a one-on-one fist fight.
A “fade” is also a kind of haircut that gradually gets shorter from top to bottom. It’s the signature haircut of Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz—also known as a “Boosie fade.” Boosie broke down how a “Boosie fade” is different from an actual fade in a 2017 interview with DJ Vlad.
“All of you’re friends will be dead, you could get hit with that Uzi”

“Uzi” refers to the submachine gun. It also references Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert and the chorus from his February 2017 hit “XO TOUR Lif3”:

“Push me to the edge
All my friends are dead”
Nicki worked with Lil Uzi on her remix of his song “The Way Life Goes,” which was released on November 3rd 2017 as well as a song titled “Froze” prior to that.
“I call him Ricky, he say he love me like Lucy”

I Love Lucy is an American television sitcom which aired from 1951-1957.

Starring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, the show centers around the life of the married couple, Lucy and Ricky Ricardo.
“This Givenchy is custom made, now you can’t get it at Saks though”

Givenchy is luxury French fashion brand. It was popularized in hip-hop by artists such as Kanye West, who wore a shirt from their “Rottweiler” series. Saks Fifth Avenue is an American luxury department store.
“I don’t work in no office, but they copying and that’s facts though”

Nicki states that other rappers copy her style and flow, as opposed to in an office, where they’d use copy machines. “Facts” is also a homophone of “fax”—a fax machine is used to copy and send documents.
Before rapping, Nicki did in fact, work in an office. She said in an interview:

“The last job I had was as an office manager in a little, tiny room where I literally wanted to strangle this guy because he was so loud and obnoxious.”
“I ain’t trying to be violent, but if Nicki on it, it slaps hoe”

“Slaps” means to be good and catchy. Nicki boasts about her features and how she make songs better with her on it.

She may also be referring to her sex game (hence “on it”)—sex with her is impeccable. Sensational
“Get you lined for that paper like a loose leaf when that strap blow”

Loose leaf paper has lines across each sheet for one to do their writing, as well as perforated lines to easily tear the paper out of the notebook.
“Paper” is slang for money and “strap” is slang for a gun—Nicki’s robbing someone at gunpoint for their money but with her status, she could have someone else do the dirty work.
“Get you lined” could also mean killing someone and after they’re dead, their body fall like a “loose leaf” (which ties into the “paper” metaphor.) Important to note that this is a quadruple entendre and too complex to explain in depth without a diagram.
“If Quavo the QB, I’m Nic Lombardi”

QB is the abbreviation for a quarterback.

“Lombardi” is the surname of Vince Lombardi—the former head coach for the Green Bay Packers. Lombardi coached the Packers to victories in the NFL’s first two Super Bowls—Super Bowl I and Super Bowl II
The Super Bowl Trophy is also named after Lombardi. The original line was going to say “If Cardi the QB, I’m Nic Lombardi”, but it was changed due to internal reasons. Nicki took to Twitter on April 12th, 2018 with this to say:
Nicki offered her side of the story in an interview with Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show. She stated that Cardi had hurt her feelings, & that neither Cardi nor the Migos defended her when the internet was flooded with rumors about her beefing w/ Cardi
“Pull up in a space coupe, I done linked with Marty”

This is a reference to Marty McFly’s time traveling DeLorean in the 1985 classic film Back to the Future. Nicki compared her car to a futuristic spaceship-like vehicle such as the one pictured here:
“I can actually afford to get a pink Bugatti”

Net worth: $100M. Bugatti is a French super car manufacturer. She also owns a pink Bentley Continental GT, which was she spotted driving in 2011 and a Lamborghini Aventador, which she also had custom-wrapped in pink.
“‘Ayo Nic, didn’t you just do a hit with Gotti?’ That too but my niggas send hits like Gotti”

The “hit” Nicki’s talking about is Yo Gotti’s June 2017 track “Rake It Up.” On the song, the rappers talk about their lavish lifestyle and how they handle their rap feuds.
It was highly successful, peaking at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Gotti’s first top 10 entry and most successful single to date. The song is also certified triple platinum in United States.
Playing on the word “hits” in the second line, Nicki also makes a reference to criminal mob boss John Gotti, who was the head of the Gambino Crime Family. He was sentenced to life without parole in 1992 on numerous charges. Also reference to Irv Gotti a known HIT MAKER.
“It’s a wrap like them things on the head of a Saudi”

When something’s a wrap, it’s finished—Nicki’s verse is coming to a close.

The word also doubles for a Ghutrah—a traditional Middle Eastern headdress. Saudi Arabians usually wear a Ghutrah to protect themselves from sunburn.
“Bitch you my son go and sit on a potty”

Nicki gives us another iteration of her famous, “these bitches is my sons.”

“Sonning” someone is a form of disgracing or looking down upon another person and can be considered insulting.
It implies that you should look up to the person performing the “sonning” as they are far more experienced in the matter, much like a parent would be to a child be in this scenario.
