So @Telegraph has really decided to ratchet up the blame game. Yep, it's the *NHS* who's to blame for the #COVID19 lockdown. Oh - and US style healthcare would be better.

NHS staff - who's with me in boycotting @Telegraph advertisers? Because this kind of accusation stinks.
Extraordinarily, this is what Charles Moore has to say: "The Government’s policy of lockdown is in significant part dictated by the demands not of patients, but of the NHS, and by its lack of adaptability and readiness."
He goes on: "The defects are baked into our system of national bureaucratic command... We are locked down by the needs of the NHS in the face of Covid."

And - as a frontline NHS doctor - I find that claim deeply offensive.
My NHS trust has revolutionised every aspect of its care in the last few weeks - responding magnificently to the challenges of #COVID19. Perhaps Charles Moore would like to leave his ivory tower and come and see the NHS in action right now?
