The thing that has been the hardest for me during this #Quarantine has been having no physical contact with my parents. I was blessed with the very best parents a person could ask for. They weren perfect, but they would do anything for me. #WhatIAmLearningInQuarantine
My mom and dad met at a frat party and never looked back. They were hippies then, and still are today. My mom majored in forestry and botany while my dad has his degrees in geology & geophysics. We are earth people. #ThatHippyLife #ShareAFactNoOneAskedFor
My entire childhood we were poor but it was still amazing. We spent so much time living in camping areas up and down the west coast. Drakes Bay is where my heart is. #California
So this thread is my memories. Because if even though we can’t hold our loved ones, at least we can hold on to the memories.

Seriously -This was some Little Home on the Prarie life. But without the NA racism ... being I’m Kiowa so much I was born in Ok.
We traveled all over the coast, living out of a tent a lot of the time. It was heaven. I can name so many native plants in their scientific Latin names.
I love the ocean. When my life gets stressful, my husband has been known to plan random trips to the California coast to help me ground and reset myself.
