~ “am I offended by this situation or am I triggered by it?”

~ “am I really angry or am I hurt?”

~ “am I actually just upset with myself?“

~ “what am I choosing to ignore here?”
~ “when did I start feeling this way?”

~ “am I projecting my insecurities right now?”

~ “have what do I know for sure?”

~ “does the story I’ve create really make sense or do I just want to justify this reaction?”

~ “why am I choosing this emotion / reaction?”
~ “am I over-reacting to get a reaction in return?”

~ “am I weaponizing my emotions?”

~ “am I being manipulative?”

~ “have I gathered all the facts?”

~ “am I open to new truths that are different from those I hold?”
