Whenever I feel low or lost I watch Frances Ha

In it there is a (now probably quite famous, albeit snipped out of context) scene where she talks about 'the one'. Even though I don't think we would ultimately be compatible (but I think we'd have fun!) I like to think of Frances as a kind of 'one'

A person who weathers it all by hook or by crook, by fault or by not, but remains somewhat ultimately true and comes out of it all with something

It makes me feel happy for her and makes me feel like: I will do that too

I know that seems generic about a lot of films, but if you actually watch Noah Baumbach/Greta Gerwig's Frances Ha then maybe you'll know what this thread was all about
