Here’s how you know the difference b/t preaching the tradition and traditional preaching:

1/4
When hearing traditional preaching you can recite the run and finish the sentence b/c you’ve heard it a 1,000 times before. You even know you’re done with the Bible for the duration of the sermon.

2/4
When you’re hearing the tradition preached, it’s clear meditation on the crucifixion, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and a call to people to repent and believe (1 Cor. 15:1-3).

3/4
Now, *the tradition* can be preached in a traditional way with great effect. But the traditional way can also make the tradition void (Mark 7:13).

The 1st is nice and the 2nd tragic. Don’t risk tragedy to do something nice.

Don’t settle for less than rightly divided WORD!
