HERES A FUN WAY FOR KIDS TO PRACTICE BASIC ADDITION, SUBTRACTION, AND/OR MULTIPLICATION FACTS WHILE ALSO STAYING ACTIVE AT HOME (Thread ⬇️⬇️⬇️)

@DrJamesHassan #stayactive #wholechild #mathmoves
Students will need:
A deck of cards, a table, an open area (like a living room), a list of 3 exercises of your choice (like jumping jacks or pushups) and a competitor

For this game you will split the deck of cards into two equal parts and place them side by side on the table
Choose an operation, then each person will flip a card from either deck simultaneously. The first person to give the correct answer keeps both cards. The other person must choose an exercise from the list and do it the same number of times as the larger card (faces are worth 11)
For example: If the chosen operation is multiplication, this answer would be 30. The person that doesn't win the cards must pick an exercise from the list and do it 11 times (since 11 is the larger number of the two
Whoever has the most cards at the end wins the game! Like and Retweet this thread to help get students learning AND moving during #quarantine!!
