I have been pointed towards this article from June 2019.

It seems as though our Irish NICU medics have been calling out for assistance on their work conditions for years.
How safe or unsafe they are. How likely infections would spread because of infrastructure of Irish NICUs...
...Their concern for patients being treated in inadequate spaces.

And now here we are.
Parents, babies, families separated - because the medics were right.

I would like to be clear that my respect for clinicians is immense. They saved my son’s life, & in doing so, saved me.
...I will continue to advocate for psychological supports for families dealing with a child in Irish NICU or PICU, particularly under these deeply upsetting restrictions.

Parents who have been through this experience know that it can be traumatic under normal circumstances...
... Please do not suffer alone.
If you are currently going through it, get in touch.
I will do my best to offer you support and I will continue to advocate on your behalf.
