It doesn’t say “whoever lives right” or “whoever stops sinning”. If it was about our good behaviour, the cross is pointless!

The idea that our behaviour as believers determines where we go is SUPER problematic. It means we earned our salvation by our good behaviour. Which means Jesus didn’t save you, you saved yourself. If Jesus died for your sins and took them away (Heb 9:26), why would He then...
send you to hell for them? Did He take them away or not? If our good behaviour doesn’t get us into heaven, why would our bad behaviour kick us out? Now this doesn’t mean we should go and live anyhow, because part of work of the cross is that the sinful nature was crucified...
And this is Paul’s rebuttal to the question “should we go on sinning?”

Notice his answer! He doesn’t say “certainly not! Don’t you know that’ll send you to hell?”
Because it doesn’t!

The gospel is that God is not counting THE WORLD’S sins against them! The sin issue has been dealt with for ALL of humanity (I John 2:2).

The only thing left for us to do is believe!

Unbelievers are ONLY sent to hell for unbelief. Why would God then send Christians to hell for sins??

This is the point of Rom 8:1! We CANNOT be condemned!
We are saved by GRACE through faith.
