I had an original name but I changed it.

So here it is...

HOW A SMALL BRAND CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN ANY INDUSTRY.

This thread is not for everybody...

It is only for people who have a desire to succeed and want to make their mark felt in today's world..

Before we start..
I have to tell you that this will be a long thread and it's because as I was watching game of thrones on my laptop...

Lord Varys made a statement that I feel you'd find helpful...

It's a quote that loosely defines how small brands should see their marketing.

What is it?
“Power is a curious thing, my lord… Power resides where men believe it resides. It’s a trick, a shadow on the wall. And, a very small man can cast a very large shadow”

So how does this relate to you...

Well you're like the small man...
And the internet is like a shining light...

The wall is your industry..

Then the shadow is your influence.

So how does this work?

If you can position yourself in a certain way using the internet your presence will overshadow everyone else.

But how do you do this?
CONTENT.

But not just any content...

VIRAL CONTENT...

You see, in uncertain times like now people are looking for someone to look up to..

And for you to reach more people then your content has to spread far and wide...

So the question on your mind is...
How can you make your content so infectious...

That your customers get so itchy they want to infect others with your content.

You see, you are your content...

People get to know you from what you put out...

So how can you make your content spread?
The first thing is EMOTIONS.

You see people want to feel connected to you or your brand...

They want to have a tingling sensation anytime they hear or see anything that concerns you...

"People will forget what you did for them but they'll never forget how you made them feel"
And that's why copywriting is how you can use words to create emotions in people like...

- Happiness

- Fear

- Greed

- Surprise

The desires of your customers are felt when you hit at their emotional pain points...

Those things that make them sleepless at night.
That young girl buying your screen product wants to feel happy in her own skin.

So what's next?

VALUE.

Value is the like an umbrella that covers the emotions...
Emotions presented on their own would be awkward...

But when they're brought with value your customers see it as beneficial...

Each time your content comes up, your customer should learn something new...

Take Steve Jobs for example....
He made the unpacking of an iphone box to feel like a discovery for his customers.

Your contents should be so valuable that your customer has no other choice than to come to you to learn...

And because it's laced with emotions, your customers will be hooked on to you.
So now we have emotions...

And we have an umbrella which is value which covers the emotions.

What's next?

YOU

The personality holding that umbrella...

What's...

- Your voice

- Your unique selling proposition.

What makes you unique and an authority?
Value helps in building your authority for sure...

But in a world with so much noise simply being a calm voice can make you stand out...

What's your edge?

What makes you unique?

What makes you authentic?

You see....
People want the emotions and the value but they also want...

The personality that they can attach it too...

An umbrella sold by Kim Kardashian and another by a random guy on the street, which would be more authentic?
Your customers want to know your brand voice they can feel and relate to...

Something that stands you out instantly.

Take L'oreal for example:

"Just because you're worth it"

They're saying anytime you want to spoil yourself then you should go for l'oreal
Let's take apple as another example...

When Steve Jobs came back to apple he hired an agency to come up with a campaign...

"We're back"

Everyone loved it except Jobs. He thought the idea was stupid....

So he hired another agency and that's was the apple way was born...
"Think different" became the campaign of a century..

Apple basically telling the whole world that they were different from everyone else.

So there's emotions, an umbrella (which is value) then we have a person..

What's next?

CUSTOMERS...
Customers build the house you live in...

It's easier to get an old customer to buy from you than an old one...

And if your customers hate you then your house falls...

That's why customer service is extremely important.
People are selfish and with social media making them feel like royalties with "user experience"

Then you should treat them right.

Because if your house falls an your inside then you're gone.

And if you're not in it then you wander about and everybody knows your business failed
This how you can easily make yourself become a force in your industry.
