My partner and I put optimism aside and openly contemplated what might happen if we did contract #COVID_19, one or both of had to be hospitalized, or worse...one or both of us died (1/4)
It was a scary conversation. But it motivated us to make a plan to ensure our child (and our pet) will be well cared for if we& #39;re both hospitalized. (2/4)
We also made sure that our wills and insurance policies were up-to-date. We& #39;re currently making lists of things that would have to be dealt with in our home. (3/4)
Finally, we told each other how deeply we love one another and how much we cherish the relationship we& #39;ve built.

In times like these, maintaining my optimism is critical. But pessimism also has a constructive role to play in life. (4/4)
