I have a good friend who is married with four kids, and she is one of the most devout and warm-hearted Christians I know. She was just told there's nothing that can be done about her stage 4 cancer. It's terminal.
So, riddle me this: does this person think my friend lacks faith? https://twitter.com/TheTNHoller/status/1246847132717416450

We see example after example after example in the New Testament that faith does not absolve suffering. Christ's blood is not a cure for your pain. These are parables meant to express what faith does do: compel acting toward others with love. This isn't that. This is cowardice.
