Wolfgang is in my campsite but I have 10 villagers... fuck
OKAY I don't know if this is common knowledge, so I'm gonna post this thread under the #acnh #AnimalCrossingNewHorizons

1. It appears that even if you have 10 villagers campers can still want to move in! You have to win a little game, but if you DO the camper talks to Nook!
2. The camper (Wolfgang) will then say something along the lines of "bad news, there's no room here!" but then ask if there's anyone thinking of moving out! You can say yes or no to this:
• Saying no ends the exchange, your camper won't move in because they have nowhere to live
3. • Saying yes prompts the camper to give the name of a resident of your town (I don't know if the resident is random, but my camper mentioned Hornsby all 3 times I tried this, even though Dierdre wants to move out) and prompts with whether they should ask Resident Services--
4. --about moving in in their place
Your options are, again, yes or no:
• Saying no ends the exchange as, like before, they have nowhere to live
• Saying yes means the camper will replace the resident they mentioned (I don't know the timeline for this as it just happened to me)
5. I went to Hornsby's house after confirming with Wolfgang that he was moving in, and Hornsby was already in boxes! I did not go see him before talking to Wolfgang, so I don't know if a resident needs to be in boxes already, or if they'll be forced to leave if you so desire it
6. I assume Wolfgang will replace Hornsby tomorrow (that is, Wolfgang's house will be there and he'll be unpacking) but I will add to this thread when I play tomorrow!
I hope this information helps, please let me know if you have questions! #acnh #AnimalCrossingNewHorizons
