On March 26 New York had 12K ventilators according to Gov Cuomo.
It is now 10 days later.
Do we have any updates as to how many ventilators are actually in use as of today?
I can& #39;t find the data anywhere.

This seems like an important data point.
All I can find is the projected NEED for ventilators predicted by the models.
How about two pieces of information:
1: How many ventilators does New York have? (still 12K?)
2: Of that number, how many are in use?
Anyone ask this?

I& #39;m seeing many people say that the daily number of intubations is approx 350~400 per Gov. Cuomo (though this info does not seem to be logged and kept with other stats.)
If this is the case... it& #39;s interesting in terms of the current state of the ventilator demand.

According to the Univ. of Washington, the average time spent on a ventilator for a Covid-19 patient is ten days.
This would mean that over a revolving ten-day period, 4,000 of their 12,000 ventilators are currently in use in New York state. https://newsroom.uw.edu/news/early-study-covid-19-patients-shows-high-mortality-rate">https://newsroom.uw.edu/news/earl...

Please provide more info if you have it. Not drawing conclusions here, just trying to find the accurate data.
