i saw someone try and justify rion’s actions by talking about cnc kink and, as someone involved in the bdsm world, i feel a need to explain why having a cnc kink is not an excuse for her behavior:

bdsm/kink is fundamentally about consent of all party’s involved. this doesn’t just mean the people participating in the action itself, but also any spectators that may be witnessing it. while it’s one thing to fantasize about a cnc interaction in your own mind or within bdsm,

when you bring it to something like a concert, and direct it at a public figure, you are not allowing anyone involved besides yourself a chance to consent. therefore, it’s highly inappropriate and potentially mentally damaging for those around you.

it’s inexcusable to inflict potential trauma on others to satisfy your own sexual gratification.

tldr; rion isn’t a bad person because she might have a cnc kink. instead she’s a terrible person because she’s a stalker who sexually harassed a public figure and those around her.
