I can still remember the Dates and events that took place during this periods when i had the burns.
I want to tell my story......

On the 3rd of January 2015 the unexpected happened not just to me but also to my family.

1.
I was angry with my mom that she didn& #39;t allow me travell to Enugu to start getting ready for Waec(she had her reasons which I didn& #39;t see with her then).
On that faithful day, around 5pm, my dad asked me to go buy fuel, I got ready and went to the junction to enter bike

2.
Waited for hours to no avail, finally someone rendered help, a minute to the journey the bike exploded, the only thing coming to my head was to jump off from the bike which I did, but with my back on the road.
People around ran away, those with shops closed and ran.

3.
Nobody to render help, I was literally stopping cars, they did stop and offered to pour me water nobody agreed to carry me to the hospital, I can still remember someone finally did but only if I enter the boot of his car, a beggar has no option so they say

4.
I was walking to enter, just for one of our kinsmen to see me and asked me to come over to his car (he& #39;s a vigilante and was carrying a Hilux) on doing so, the bikeman ran towards us and begged to join, I didn& #39;t really know what came over me but I held hands with him and prayed.
As all these things were happening, I was calling out my parents phone number so people can reach to them and tell them what happened. They finally called my uncle that carried me to hospital and met up with him.
We went to 2 different hospitals in Awka and I was rejected

6.
The last finally directed us to orthopedic hospital in Enugu. My mum sat with me in the hilux and made sure I was awake through out the journey to Enugu and was always giving me water every 10 minutes. All these was happening on a Sunday.

7.
Getting to the hospital, they carried me to the emergency ward, my brother and seeing me fainted, so my mom had to start attending to him.
The doctors went into duty, pulling off my skin after few minutes I was unconscious.

8.
The next day, I was surrounded by love from all angles, even those I had to console on seeing me and those that fainted too.
I really appreciate you guys.
I tried walking on the 1st of Febuary and the result was terrible, creating new wounds and blood everywhere.

9.
Was asked to be very try it again. I was kept in acute burns for 2months until we were all moved to emergency ward cos of renovation.
My legs started to heal, and I was discharged on the 28 of March, asked to start coming from home for dressing.

10.
I learnt to walk on my own amdist the warnings.

On the 27th of April, I was readmitted again for a surgery(skin grafting) where they have to collect skin from another part of the body to patch the affected part. Was a success although we haven& #39;t perfected in it in Nigeria

11.
Was discharged on the 7th of may. That& #39;s where the trauma began.
People were comfortable with me in school and Church but outside that.
I couldn& #39;t go arnd children, even d adult acted like one.
The stigmatization was out of the world, I can still remember crying on the road

12.
After waec, the thought of entering university and not be labelled as the Girl with the burns was overwhelming.
I searched for @ede_siri when I got admitted into UNN, would say I had a connection with her after screening.
Had been a wonderful ride, even @CEOOnlineStore
I always feel untouchable whenever I& #39;m with them.

@_uzoegwu I appreciate the effort you made.

Yeah I& #39;m having the time of my life with my friends, scars are quite beautiful.
The explosion was as a result of Gun powder the bikeman was carrying and yes I had a 50% 2nd degree burn
