since the quarantine keeps pushing me into being amy dunne, let me entertain you with creepy (actually boring) stories that happened to me, or anyone in my family.

around 1-2 am, i got hungry, tried to make some eggs on toast. just as i was slicing the bread, i heard keys rattling just right outside the window, then a woman calling out for someone. no one in the house was awake but me and it's really impossible for someone—

to be tresspassing without alerting the dogs (that should tell people to fuck off), and i'm not the only family member who has experienced some creepy shit in the house, so i really tried not chickening out. i did my thing, but i felt someone was there with me—

then whatever it was surely leaned too close to my ear because i heard my name being whispered TOO CLEARLY lmaooo that sent had me stuffing the bread into the fridge and running into my parents' bedroom.

last year, my tita needed some surgery for her foot which caused almost every movement to really hurt, because of that, she cries often. she sleeps in the bedroom that faces mine, and i can hear.

but there's one afternoon that stood out the most —

i was just about to enter my room when i saw tita heading out for some chika with lola in the garden. so there i was, minding my own damn business until i heard her crying. i just laid there, opened all the windows, and blasted some music until the crying stopped—

then i rushed out of the house and found my tita chilling with her dog lmaoooo i thought it was just my brain going funny but someone who helps around the house every once in a while told my mom that she heard my tita crying despite not being at home. my mom told her that—

it happens to everyone in the house. even to my mom lol.

there are times when i'm being called to the living room, only to find out who called me had been asleep for hours. the misplaced stuff happens too, you put your phone in the table, turn around for a second to grab—

some pepsi, and it's gone. so you flip the entire house looking for it, stop your family's peace to ask for help, and when you take a break from finding it, you'll see it hasn't been moved from its place.

some freaky stuff happened to our neighbours too. said there was some hammering going on their roof around 2-4 am, a few missing items, being awake in places they didn't sleep in. but whoever's causing this don't actually harm us. they just want some of your attention.

one of my sister's friends was smoking on the veranda, he got poked on the shoulder and no one was there with him.

my cousin was chilling outside, saw my dad in the yard, greeted him goodevening, to which my dad ignored, but my cousin didn't mind. the next morning, he asked dad what he was doing at 11 in the evening, but my dad laughed, he knows this happens lol—

and said that he was watching a movie with us, which is true. + there used to be a well within our yard, and you could see it through the dining room window. so mom and dad were talking, until they both saw some kids taking water from the well to play with it.

they grabbed their flashlights, headed outside to tell the kids to go home, but found no one, and even the ground was dry + my other cousin's gf complimented my mom for having a hella nice voice because she heard it while she was taking a shower, but mom wasn't sing that night—

she was talking to lola. + dad was helping my sister finish an art project, but she went to bed early after dad insisted that she should get some rest, so he was alone upstairs. just as he was finishing up, he saw a person walking down the stairs.
