1. ChiChi’s anger is misunderstood when Goku returns from Yardrat. When ChiChi says she didn’t care of the world& #39;s future, she didn’t mean it. She speaks out of frustration and reaches a breaking point. Keep in mind what ChiChi has gone through for over two years. #Chichi
2. She loses her family for a year. After they return, ChiChi barely has anytime to be with them before both go to Namek. She isn’t told what happens there until after the battle. Her husband doesn’t return when he could’ve (think what that does to your psyche) but a year later.
3. Everyone else’s lives returns to normal after Namek except the Son Family. ChiChi’s life is put on hold because her family is incomplete for another year. For a year, she thinks of her husband’s decision, hopes when he returns, their lives can return to normal.
4. Goku returns home but it’s not shown how he breaks the Androids news to ChiChi. Safe to assume, it wasn’t gently since Goku is very blunt and doesn& #39;t know how to be subtle or easing someone into a situation.
5. She reunites with her husband, thinks their lives can go back to normal but is told of the Androids. This means her family will risk their lives again, she has to worry about them coming home alive and her husband wants their 6YO to fight again after his traumatic two years.
6. Imagine if your life is turned upside down. Over time, it’s one bad thing after another. When you finally think it’s over and life can get back to normal, the rug is pulled from under you again. Some reach a breaking point. Androids and three more years was ChiChi’s.
7. ChiChi lashes out of frustration and who hasn’t spoken in anger in RL? ChiChi isn’t the only character to do this. Bulma has as well. While Bulma has a chance to recant her words, ChiChi doesn& #39;t because of Goku& #39;s tap.
8. Goku knows ChiChi isn’t serious. He laughs at her. In the end, ChiChi didn’t mean what she said. She gave in and worried about Goku, Gohan and Piccolo. She encourages Goku to make Gohan as strong as possible. In hindsight, Goku should’ve waited before springing the Androids
9. news. ChiChi would& #39;ve argued but not as strongly as she did when he returned. Enjoying a few days of family time before telling ChiChi the grime news wouldn’t have interfered in their training. We all saw what three YEARS of training did for everyone.
