I think the reason Trudeau doesn’t want to release modelling is because the duration of isolation/distancing being recommended isn’t feasible economically (foundation of our society) and he will eventually be in the unenviable position of having to deliver that somber news.

And before you @ me about lives being more important than the economy, that is a myopic view. The economy isn’t just about $. The economy is a euphemism for our entire societal structure. If it collapses, there will be lives lost. So no, this isn’t an either or argument.
