My sister has been having some cool educational fun with her kids (ages 2-7). Sharing some of these ideas... (thread)

#1: Capillary action (walking rainbow)
#2: measuring (lining up toy cars), counting, and math (by asking how many more "cars" tall mom is than each kid, for example).
#3: hand-tracing PSAs (drawing and writing: "wash with soap even with nail polish").
#4: edible engineering. Cheerios, spaghetti, and something doughy.
#5: sewing sock puppets
#6: Giving old crayons a new life
#7: "Precipitation" in a glass... plain water, shaving cream cloud. Drizzle tinted water onto the cloud (with a syringe or eye dropper) to make it rain in the glass.
#8: Tracing and french vocabulary.
#9: The power of fulcrums and levers.
