Hello Fam.... I want us to have a discussion on being persistently consistent in the place of prayer..

What's your view on prayer? Do you think prayer is truly overrated and over emphasized?

So it is with your prayers. Ask and you’ll receive. Seek and you’ll discover. Knock on heaven’s door, and it will one day open for you. Every persistent person will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he needs.

And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door TPT 11:9-10

The amplified: “So I say to you, ask and keep on asking, and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking, and you will find; knock and keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

For everyone who keeps on asking [persistently], receives; and he who keeps on seeking [persistently], finds; and to him who keeps on knocking [persistently], the door will be opened.

Did we notice how many times the word "persistently" appeared in these verses? Now can we say we don't receive because we give up too easily?

What does being persistent mean?
"Continuing firmly or obstinately in an opinion in an opinion or course of action in spite of opposition

Let's say you have been believing God for a job and finally this job comes and you asked to submit a particular document within a stipulated time.. Won't you do whatever you can to get that document? You won't stop until you get it.. That's persistence!

Same thing applies to prayer... You don't just ask, seek or knock and not get desired results and you stop! You have to push, press, you have to be persistently consistent.. You make progress as you push! One thing it will Crack..

A believer doesn't have a faith problem, alot of time it's being persistently consistent.
It is not enough to be open to get used.. Beloved, you must ask and you have to be persistent and this can be done only through prayers and I mean consistent prayers..

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; LUKE18:1

As believers when faced with any contrary situation, your first response should be to Pray!

Hope deferred makes the heart sick: but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life. Pro13:12

For every desire not met you lose hope and this isn't good for you as a believer.

Can we push me more, stay in more? Be more persistent and more consistent? We don't give up until we have expectations met?

I must add when you pray, you pray from the stand point of victory... All you need here on earth has already been made available. But you wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and power
against rulers of darkness in high places..

The importance of prayer can never be over emphasized. Remain blessed.
