Christians around the world are celebrating #PalmSunday today. The Scripture records that as Jesus made His entry into Jerusalem, crowds welcomed Him, waving branches of palm trees. That was a royal welcome—yet just a few days later, they would cry out for Him to be crucified.
The last book of the Bible—Revelation—tells us there will be another time when people wave palm branches to honor & praise Him. That occasion will precede not His crucifixion, but His worship by saints & angels.
The Book of Revelation says, “…a great multitude that no one could number...from all tribes & peoples & languages, standing before the throne...w/palm branches in their hands, & crying out w/a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne...’” (Rev. 7:9-10)
