I have received many messages regarding April 6. Some messages are grateful, some frustrated, confused, even angry. Our commitment: educators connecting to students in some way and learning tasks being assigned. This will be done in different ways. #tdsb #tdsbdirector https://twitter.com/malloy_john/status/1246243628860784640
Learning and marks are not always the same thing. We are focusing on student learning and their well-being during these challenging times. Educators will provide feedback but the mark will only count if it helps. #tdsb #tdsbdirector
Every family has different circumstances, different challenges, and different realities. Our educators do to. Please remember this when you communicate that there is only one way to do remote learning. We will not be doing it that way. #tdsb #tdsbdirector
I know grade 12 students are concerned. We will work with your teachers to determine your mid-term mark, important for post-secondary. We will use the March 13 mark, ask teachers to accept assignments and maybe give one more assignment. The marks counts if it helps. #tdsb
