something i will never understand is how some professional artists legit go around saying that small artists that do commissions for low prices are to blame for work being hard to find for everyone in the industry

what you're saying with that is that because i don't have your skill or audience i don't deserve to get paid for my work. i remember seeing this thread by some industry professional saying "if you can't charge at least $40 an hour don't offer commissions" and man fuck that
