#SelfCareSunday - this is cute, but fairly apropos.
Most of you are just coming to grips with what has happened. Stages of illumination:

1. It's a day off!

2. Surprise vacation!

3. Worrying about things.

4. OMG this is like a custodial sentence.
I passed through something similar in 2007/2008. Lyme did not kill me, but it killed my career, my personal and professional relationships, and it kept me pinned down until I moved to California. Yay medical care access.
By pinned I mean:

1. Used to being poor.

2. Used to limited mobility. Can't afford car, glad I recovered enough to closet my cane.

3. Used to limited/dull diet due to Lyme related digestion trouble.

4. Accepted it as permanent long ago.
Some things you newly inconvenienced people can do:

1. Gratitude list - got a place to live? Food in the pantry? Working HVAC? Internet?!?! You're ahead of 99% of all humans who ever lived.

2. If you are reading this, you can read many other things. Get to it.
3. The online learning sites will be under less pressure now that it's been a bit. Get on @Coursera or @LI_learning or whatever, find a short class, learn something new and/or fun.
4. You MUST have some sort of physical activity, even if it's just stretching, and if you can manage something aerobic that's even better.

5. Now is a great time to pick up some sort of meditative practice. Makes anxiety, depression, etc easier to handle.
