Regular set up, minus the flexible ETT extender. PEEP setting didn’t matter and O2 flow didn’t matter... pressure 0. 2/5

Additional O2 via M port created a pressure that matched the PEEP valve setting regardless of O2 flow through BVM. 3/5

Additional O2 via HME port created a pressure that matched the PEEP valve setting regardless of O2 flow through BVM. 4/5

Finally, CPAP with our set up. Whether O2 via M port or HME port, didn’t feel different or create different results. Our “patient” felt that supplemental O2 was a must. Too much resistance breathing through BVM alone and no noticeable CPAP. 5/5
