BUT ALSO i think akaashi was a star for bokuto too. he's bokuto's friend first, but he's also his guide + one of those that pushed him, if not /the/ main one to push him to be "just an ace." when he had "that moment" in vball, akaashi was there bcs he /helped/ make it happen

we can joke abt how akaashi "fell first" but no denying here that these two trust each other on such??? a deep level that bokuto, who acknowledges giving 100 is hard, is asking akaashi for 120, and akaashi the serial overthinker is willing to take a risk and try whatever bk wants

and we know that they dont stay together on a team later on as seen w the w msby jackals and bokuto's had other setters, but the trust he has with akaashi and their history will always get him saying stuff like these i--

tldr bokuaka have such close friend (and probs chaotic) energy, they got that special kind of trust between them and they inspire/guide each other to be better people. they're both stars and they both rule their own worlds. theyve both been so good for each other and im so proud

im emotional but happy bokuaka day i ended up rereading the mujinazaka match and a bit of karasu vs neko and nothing was okay im just emotional and thinking about how far these fucking fictional charas have come and how im so invested in them and inspired all at once
