Is it because the people who really matter are doctors and nurses and hospital staff, epidemiologists and public health professionals, delivery drivers, truck drivers, couriers, cleaners, the garbos, supermarket workers; the small people, the humble people they fight to keep

keep on a pittance? Is because the whole structure of our society and economy is ultimately bullshit in the face of this kind of genuine fucking calamity? Nothing will be the same after this, we all say. I should fucking hope so. Capitalism needs to die

Inequality needs to die. We are all interdependent in each other; every town, every city, every country. We can only hope that an exhausted populace will find the strength, courage and love to demand more for people, not corporations
