@PsshhIma_THUG really is the most thoughtful bestfriend. Couple days ago I realized I had burned through my fav candle. Candles are my LIFE & bring me so much peace. This particular candle I got at Marshallās. Most their candles are discontinued so I wasnāt expecting to find it
I looked for hours online trying to find the same exact candle and I could not. So I asked my best friend to help. No luck.... so I thought. Well I post a pic of the candle on Twitter & said Iād pay top dollar to whoever could find the link for this candle.
About an hour or so later she calls me but I miss the call. I call right back & she doesnāt pick up

She just sitting on FT laughing at me wild out. Then she goes āgirl check yo messagesā. So I pause FT, still talking smack & then what do I see....... Iām reading this order confirmation like itās a will. Iām a big baby & dramatic as hell but I donāt cry. If Iām ever crying something is VERY wrong or Iām overwhelmed with joy/emotion. But in that moment I could feel the tears forming in my eyes. I kept it together though.
I continued reading the confirmation though & notice the name of the candle she ordered is slightly different from the candle I have. So I, in my dramatic nature, start to panic āis it the same candle, will it smell the same. What if itās not the same thing? & you wasted money?ā
She then tells me to check my messages again. So I look & yall......... a tear really fell from my eye. This woman contacted the company that made the candle & confirmed with them it was the same smell even though the names were slightly different. Not only did she care enough to find the candle, she bought it & confirmed it was still the same scent. I couldnāt ask for a more thoughtful gesture. Iāve been on edge bc of everything that has been going on recently & my current wfh status but this, this made my week.
Thatās why Iām making this thread bc 1). She is an icon 2). It feels good to let someone know Iām not ok & they do what they can to help me. Itās the small things. She canāt change my situation but she did something that was important to me.
She did what she could, all the way from NY, to make sure I was seen.
