I finally finished watching the last two episodes and the Special Episode of #UWMAseries and my eyes hurt so much from crying. I think this series will forever have a special place in my heart because out of all the BL series I have seen, this - by far - is unmatched.

I'm not saying the other series that have been made are of poor or sub-par quality. Far from it. In fact, there are other BL series that have also done a great job in their respective stories.

However, the reason why I say that at least in my books, #UWMAseries is unmatched because it has this great ensemble of actors, matched with an amazing OST, wonderful sets and a really, really superb screenplay.

And the story isn't a simple love story. There is an intricacy to it, and the attractiveness of it lies in the fact that it unravels the mystery of the story with you rather than having a series tell you THIS is how it's SUPPOSED to be, it allows you to go beyond the imposition.

Instead, the series' story takes you by the hand and you join the cast in this journey to forgiveness of two families bound by tragedy. It's not a simple BL narrative that tells you how the couple gets together. It goes beyond that, which is why I say this series is unmatched.

This may be a super delayed post but I really want to extend my sincerest thanks to @Iam_lazysheep for creating such an superb story that really touched my heart. I hope her next novel, whichever that may be, is as successful as #UWMAseries.

I also want to thank @aloneww for his superb directorial skills and how he helped his cast navigate and convey to us a story that will stay for generations to come. Really, really great job, sir!

Thus concludes my heartfelt review of what I will forever consider one of the best - if not the best - Thai BL series ever made. To those who haven't seen the series, I highly encourage you to do so and prepare your heart to be touched by such a wonderful story. #UWMAseries
