Quick rant but when y'all say quote on quote type shit like "Good Hair", I typically always hear older black people say it and even people around my age saying it. I've notice a few things and it has been bugging me... A thread.

When a girl with looser curls (2C,3A,3B,3C) walks by, I always hear my granny or my mom say things such as "She got some good hair" or "She got a good grade of hair" but...

Once a girl like ME with thicker texture hair (4b/4c) walks out with my afro, my granny will legit make a sound of disgust and would touch my hair and be like "Uughh, it's so thick. You need to get your hair done" and would fr laugh ts off like it was funny like...no ma'am.

What really pushed me to make this thread is that while I was taking down my twist out yesterday, she was legit staring at my hair in disgust and made that "Ugghhh" noise and she once again touched it and said "It's so nappy" as If that's a bad thing or something like wtf..?
