Interactive AU - Explanation Thread

This is for those who are interested in learning more about the polls - what they meant and how they affected the story!

I will probably also throw in some other explanations of clues that may have been missed as to what was going on!

Let’s start with the polls!

The first poll ran before the au started. Most notably it affected who the omega/alpha was in the story.

Also Jungkook would have been characterized the way Hoseok was if Yoongi was the alpha.

Yoongi probably would have been more shy if he was the alpha because I think that’s super cute

Yoongi/Jungkook would still have known each other through photography but in a different dynamic.

The plot twist would have been the same no matter who the omega was!

Most of the polls in the au were less about if something would happen or not but how and when.

For example - the first was about Jimin following Hoseok. If you had voted no he would have gone through Hoseok’s social media instead.

Again if you had voted no Jimin probably would have just done this at a later time.

It wouldn’t have affected him running into Yoongi the next day that was happening either way.

Alone - you know what happened

With Hoseok - they wouldn’t have actually talked because Yoongi wouldn’t do that with him around. Yoongi would however had looked at Jimin which would have been a clue

With someone else - This would have been Jungkook!

If the last option won Yoongi and Jimin would have talked with Jungkook there.

A little less flirty and Jungkook would have explained things to Jimin sooner rather than later that day.

If Jimin hadn’t texted Yoongi he would have gone to apologize in person on campus with the help of Jungkook. It would have been less flirty but still progress.

Communication - Yoongi would tell Hoseok about meeting Jimin

Privacy - Hoseok wouldn’t know anything until he smelled Yoongi’s scent on Jimin

Where they would hang out/who would ask

If Yoongi had gone to Jimin’s you would have seen more of Yoongi/Jungkook’s dynamic

Jimin wouldn’t have been so overwhelmed by Yoongi’s scent but he would have been bothered by how his friends reacted to Yoongi

If Jimin had left Yoongi would have teased him over the phone. Probably not exactly phone sex but something like that you knowwww

Yoongi’s scent was on Jimin either way so that didn’t affect the Hoseok stuff later on

Low - yelling but no physical fighting

Medium - Hoseok would attempt to hurt Jimin but not actually do it

I debated on having another poll but I had too much to wrap up and decided not to

On the plus side you got a really long final update

Overall you all pretty voted in a way that brought Yoonmin together as quickly as possible. Yoongi says thank you
