In 2009 I met the first ever "Alamu anu".. I& #39;m embarrassed to narrate how I thought she was going to be my wifey and Mother to my kids, you know those things we feel when we are in love, even worse first Love..
But today I want to tell ya& #39;ll How I met this Angel; atleast then I thought she was. You know how Facebook was the hottest place to meet girls at that time, so One day I got a Friend Suggestion Notification of her and I quickly added her, she had Rihanna on her DP.
and she didnt have any other Pictures. She quickly Slid in my DM with the usual "Hey" and that was it.
Pansi pamtima you know kuti apa nde zanga zili bwino
Fast forward to some few weeks later, we had exchanged numbers and we were texting and Calling each other a lot, especially at Night, on those TNM Mtolo 30 calls or the 99% discount calls. She spoke some very good English and had some pretty sweet voice
since I had not met her yet and I didnt know what she looked like, my imagination pinned her to be some Rihanna lookalike. Long story short, We were in love.
We quickly made a plan to meet in Town, Kafoteka Filling Station (The best meeting place for couples back then)
I got a cut from my barber that morning, took a long shower to make sure I was throughly clean, Brushed my teeth and I had on my best outfit. I was excited to finally meet the love of my life.
As I walked towards Kafoteka Fueling Station, there was this young pretty lady coming towards me, I remember I prayed she should be my Rihanna and yes it was her. We looked at each other and smiled, I didnt ask anymore questions as she had her arms out to give me a long warm hug.
We went to Gazebo Restaurant and I remember we ordered two plates of chips and chicken that costed me all the money I had, I was going to walk home but I didnt mind. We spent some 2 Hours of great conversations and some kisses to formalize the relationship, I was ine the zone https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đŸ€—" title="Hugging face" aria-label="Emoji: Hugging face">
Now, her phone started ringing from her bag and she politely asked me if it was okay to pick it, I gave her the nod. "Aah aah, iwe, it& #39;s you calling me" she said. I was confused, my phone was in my hands and I was not calling anyone.
I had 12 missed from her as my phone was in Silent mode. I asked her to pick the phone. She picked the phone on loud speaker and you will not believe it, there was a guy on the phone, " Ndafikatu kalekale I& #39;m just waiting for you, are you coming??" nde kunachema
We were all shocked. She quickly hanged up. She asked me to call her on my phone and I quickly dialed her number. Again it was picked my someone else, this time a lady "I have been calling you sukuyankha, I& #39;ve been here for two hours, are you coming?" Said the lady on the phone.
Her voice Ndendende the one I was talking to previously https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😒" title="Unamused face" aria-label="Emoji: Unamused face"> Now it was clear, I was with the wrong person the whole damn time. We didnt know what to do, there was some awkward silence for a moment. We agreed to go back and meet our initial dates at kafoteka.
Now, after I met my real date, I have to admit that I was disappointed, she wasnt half what I had imagined my Rihhana would look like. I had my mind stuck on the girl I just accidentally met and spent a whole 2 hours with.
Koma mzibambo nde sindinaimve.. Ndinamukakamila wina uja mpaka zinatheka.

That, ladies and gentlemen , is how I met the first ever "Alamu anu
