The area of just Hyde park, Regent’s Park, St James’ Park and the serpentine alone is sufficient that 347,000 people could each occupy 10 square metres.
On the same basis almost a million people would enjoy 10 square metres of space in Richmond Park.
London’s 3000 parks, containing eight million trees across 35000 acres would have space for 14 million people to each enjoy ten square metres. That’s almost double the population of Greater London. Keep the parks open, distance socially, chill out.
Do not sunbathe for hours on end, do not meet with people, do not cluster. Be sensible, don’t take the piss.
