Spent the afternoon with a new project using the GitHub API. Decided to try working with GraphQL for the first time.

Wow that's a lot of jumping through hoops just to avoid making a few REST API calls. Wow.

This is just a first impression of course. More to experience and discover here. I guess I just thought it was supposed to be... easier?
