If you’re struggling with school rn and your professors lack sympathy, empathy, etc., know that YOU’RE the one who’s kicking ass having to put up with these emotionless robots with “teaching credentials”

My grandma said something to me that was a real eye-opener. Some professors don’t know how to teach. They only know how to be good students and assign the work given to them when they were in school.

They don’t even foster curiosity and learning. Because of this, students only care about what they should memorize so it can be regurgitated on an exam or assignment. That is NOT what school should be for.

Why do you care about how much I can store in my brain when the phone I’m using to type this tweet can store SO MUCH MORE information? Much more efficient than any brain. My brain desires knowledge that foster my passion(s), not the completion of tasks that are later subjectified
