The access to green space conversation has exactly the same form as the stockpiling conversation. Everyone thinks their own behaviour is reasonable, and complains loudly about the selfishness and unreasonableness of others.

Of course the real issue is the massively unequal and unfair distribution of scarce resources in society, and as ever it’s poor, vulnerable people who are shouldering a disproportionate burden for the greater good.

Anyway I’ve just been called a selfish cow for thinking poor people in urban areas have a right to fresh air and green space, so I’m logging off for the day
