Dear transwomen, you believe that women asserting their boundaries and the relevance of being born and raised a girl in a sexist word is simply motivated by hate and fear of you. Believe me, it's not. We know, as girls, from an early age what hatred looks like, and that's not it.
All the stories we are told, from the myth of creation, to the original sin, to the princess who needs being saved, to the ugly old witch are a long, interminable tale of erasure, shame, irrelevance & fear of the female sex; a tale that permeates deeply and shapes us to the core
and that as girls we try desperately to shake in order to find our own values and our value in the world. Only to be caught by porn, the male gaze, rape, assaults, insults and more humiliation. From childhood, we are hated, in a mostly invisible and naturalised way,
But sometimes in the most violent, degrading, murderous way, with near total impunity. Misogyny is not a hate crime, because misogyny is the bread & butter of societies identity & cultures. Females are humanity's punching ball, without which we don't know how to keep men happy
enough to play their part in a globally exploitative system.
Females know hate so much that a majority of us have internalised it. It truly is devastating.
But we are not defeated. And when we object to having our very femaleness, our core property, appropriated by males,
Some of us still have enough self -respect to fight back and say No. You call this self-respect hatred and fear, because you don't know what hatred and fear look like. Trust me, we know, we were born in it, you weren't.
