What I want to aim for with al this coding, within 6 months to a year (which I feel is a very realistic goal): I want to make a prototype where you, as a character, can just really tangibly exist in a space. Where you can walk, sit, lie down, roll, climb, interact etc.
What REALLY annoyed me about BotW was the fact they made this beautiful verdant world to explore, and all you could really do was run, climb & engage in combat. I want to be able to sit in the grass, pulls tufts of it out, lie down & take a selfie, pick & carry flowers by hand...
That level of interaction, of really just inhabiting a body and a space, is something I'd love to be able to do. I loved the freedom of movement MGSV gave you to dive, roll, lean etc., and really want to create a movement system that gives the player TONS of pointless options.
I also want to recreate Pink Paddles from scratch in the Unity engine and actually finish it this time 👀 Still love the music I wrote for it, and would absolutely recreate it. The dynamic music & background systems I coded for that game were fucking awesome too!
Maybe scale it back though and not include all the extra modes I had in the original build like Survival & Battle 😅
AAAAAAA I JUST FOUND ALL THE OLD MUSIC ON GOOGLE DRIVE, I CAN TOTALLY REPRODUCE IT ALL
Something I've learned from actually working in the industry: use workflow tools. Intend to be my own producer on these little projects an prototypes once I've built up my familarity with Unity & C#.
Also sorry for all the typos in this thread, haven't had the coffoes yet 👀
