Been working on collating NSW Police data for COVID-19 fines and arrests, here’s some initial analysis:
- 33% of infringements have been issued in south-west Sydney.
- Coonamble (1-in-3 residents are Indigenous) has 0.04% of the state’s population but 10% of infringements.

The top 4 local government areas with the most locally acquired COVID-19 cases, excluding the CBD, (Waverley, Northern Beaches, Inner West, Randwick) have a total of... one infringement.

And that one case (From Dee Why) wasn’t because policd were out patrolling, but one man who kept rocking up to the police station to “visit his mate” before police eventually fined him.
