Most baked goods go here honestly. And though I am a utility monster for self-made barbecue, $50 worth of meat and 12 hours of labor probably isn't worth it for a brisket sandwich.

Homemade salsa too. The marginal value of your lovingly-crafted perfectly-portioned salsa is not going to cut it over the jar of Pace.

Fried chicken. Homemade fried chicken is amazing. The trouble of making it, how much attention it requires and most importantly the cleanup, is not worth it.

Pizza. I will never make a pizza as good as Pizza Hut and their pizza is $6 for a whole pizza.
