Leaving my shift today it became more evident to me that NYC’s #COVID19 pandemic will be a tale of two cities. The essential and service workers mostly Black, Brown and immigrant. Many are my patients. Then, the others....

Many of whom have the luxury of working from home protected or leaving the city to second homes upstate or elsewhere.

Once the human toll has been counted, NYC will certainly face a racial reckoning.
