I wanted to talk about Endeavor, and the sole reason Todoroki exists, because I don't see it discussed much anymore but that doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Todoroki exists because Endeavor wanted a child who had the perfect quirk combination, so he could surpass All Might and fix the one weakness that Endeavor has, which is overheating.

He actively sought out a woman with an ice quirk and had 3 other kids who failed to live up to his idea of the perfect quirk, and by some miracle, his 4th child ended up have the perfect quirk combination, fire and ice. A half-half beast of a quirk.

He actively neglected his 3 other children to focus on training and developing Todorokis fire/ice quirk, which lead to a spiral of abuse and emotional trauma leading to Todoroki rejecting Endeavors ideals of surpassing All Might and hindering himself by not using his fire half.

and we all know how that played out in season 2.

As hard-hitting as the Endeavor v High-End fight was, I don't think the Todorokis will instantly forgive him because they can't, it's just not going to happen, which is why I admire Endeavors Redemption arc. It's realistic and doesn't resolve everything in a few episodes.

Personally, I think Endeavor and Todoroki are one of the best-written characters currently in the show, I'll leave explaining that to another thread later down the line, it's nearly midnight, and I'm tired. god, this thread is a mess.
