Has it ever occurred to anyone that the reason why Oikawa never made it to Nationals is because his teammates really just weren't on his level? I think it's time to open this discussion hahahahaha
I think it's time to acknowledge Ushijima had a point. Karasuno got through Shiratorizawa with total defense in the hands of the wall (9,11,3) backed up by receivers (1,4). AFAIK Seijoh is an offense-heavy team focusing on combo plays but w/o defense they couldn't stop firepower
The Seijoh's libero's main skill is that he can double as a setter--again, offense. While Matsukawa has been shown to be good as a single block, as far as I know none of them were running complex block systems like Tsukki was for the stzw match
Also. Iwachan is ace material through and through and his firepower is legit but let's not forget. He's short.
Seijoh lost nationals when they didn't start to aggressively recruit blockers and that's that on that đŸ’©
Let's open discussion further... Datekou vs Shiratorizawa (spring high lineups) would have been quite the match. I think Datekou could stuff Ushi a lot tbh, but what I'm wondering is if Datekou has wingers and middles that can decisively score.
