Some are getting it. But BC's new prescribing regime still needs to be rolled out. If your wired (got SUD), you're eligible. Some doctors aren't aware yet. And some seem to refuse. I've had reports from BC's Interior, the Fraser Valley & the DTES of people being turned down.

BC's new prescribing regime does not include heroin (diacetylmorphine), prescription fentanyl or cocaine. Not yet anyway. For people to leave the contaminated illicit drug supply en mass, we'll need those. True #safesupply means a straight substitution, not an adjacent trade.

Finally, any reform we win today in #COVID must become permanent. So far, there are no promises on that score. So we'll have to fight like hell if they try to take it away.
