Gonna come right out and say it but using incest as an AHA you’re clearly IMMORAL >:) just doesn’t work on me bc imo incest is a morally neutral act. No I’m not talking about adopted incest. Combined w the layer of “these are fictional charas” and I’m just like ok, ur point is?

So idk call me an incest apologist I guess. Fiction is a way to explore dynamics both healthy and unhealthy w/o harming real people. But even if real people engaged in incest, as long as it’s healthy and consensual, I’d be like as long as you love each other!

People keep raising the inbreeding argument. Does it mean it’s immoral for people with inheritable conditions to procreate? I always like to push people to consider WHY something is wrong, instead of just accepting that it’s wrong bc everyone says it’s wrong.

People of this kind always respond “why do you even need this explained to you!!l” but that’s just an incredibly lazy way of deflecting. If you can’t answer why it’s wrong or harmful, then maybe you should figure out why you’re getting the pitchforks out
