The most important part of adaptating a character to the big screen is getting their personality right. Peter is brave, righteous and above all else: responsible. When he's out of costume, he's nerdy, awkward, and shy. But when he's in the costume, he's clumsy, confident and the-

-class clown of every group he's in, but whenever a life is in danger, he stops fooling around and starts taking the situation seriously. Peter is quick to assume guilt for anything bad that happens, counting himself responsible. Peter is usually a loner and works solo, but he's-

-grown to be more open to team efforts and has worked with the Avengers multiple times, even if sometimes it's due to certain circumstances. Peter has TERRIBLE luck, which he's dubbed "Parker Luck." Peter is charismatic yet pessimistic. So, did MCU Spidey get any of this?

Well yeah. These are all things that can be attributed to MCU Spidey at one point or another.... except TWO. MCU Peter is DEFINITELY NOT a loner. Other heroes invade his Solo Films like if it was a Black Friday Sale. And MCU Peter usually isn't very pessimistic either.

Looks like I forgot something. There is more that I missed, so let's address this. Let's talk about Peter's family worries, self hatred, short temper, and Spider-Man‘s effect on Peter Parker for a moment, shall we?

In the MCU, Peter does worry about May, but only about how she'd react finding his identity. He doesn't show to worry about what could happen to her if she gets into danger because of him. And MCU Peter is definetly not short tempered.

Spider-Man‘s effect on Peter Parker has always been so fascinating. It has it's negative and positive effects, but the MCU just flat-out removed the negatives. It makes being Spider-Man a fantasy happy-go-lucky hero rather than a complex human being who has bad luck.

So is MCU Spidey accurate? Sorta. He has his accuracies and inacuracies as stares above. But I'd say he's semi-accurate.
